Yesterday Big Poppy, (AKA my dad), made me work! I hate to work! He was like, "Okay Tripper, you need to clean out my car, your car, the garage and mow the lawn". I was not happy with this demand. So I decided to take the high road and do the work. First I cleaned out his car. Yes I said "HIS" car. Why do I have to clean out HIS car when it's not MY car. I took everything out of the car and I swept it. Then I did the same to my car and I mowed the lawn.
While I was mowing the lawn, I stepped on a load of crap that my dog had left for me. It's like my dog placed it like a perfectly laid mine. I stepped in it and I didn't even know it until I started cleaning out the garage. I smelt something nasty. Oh yeah it was my shoe which was covered in poo. Not very cool. Then I had to clean off my shoe it was horrible.

Know Your School Colors

As I walk through the hallways I see Northview's school colors, black and gold. Many students are very proud of the school which they attend. Others not so much! I often see students wearing other schools' colors and gear. Now I'm not saying that since you go to Northview you can't wear orange because orange is Southview's colors. I'm saying that if Northview has a game of anykind, don't wear orange or anyother vibrant color.
I also see, mostly in girls, St. Johns and St. Francis sweatshirts and pants. Why do girls always want to borrow guys' clothing? Most of the guys' clothing is of SJJ and SFS kind. All I have to say is why? Oh, guys, don't think that you don't do the same. I see St. Ursula and Notre Dame clothing also. Unless YOU go or went to the school then don't wear other schools' clothes.
You might say, "It's not about the colors or what is written on the clothing. It's about being comfortable". My response would say something like would you wear something dorogatory on your shirt. Well that's pretty much what you are doing. You're dissing your own school. Be proud of the school which you attend. Even if they might not be great at every sport or activity take pride!

Math
Of all the subjects in school why is math the hardest? I know that I'm going to need it some time in my life but can't we learn about when we have picked our occupation? For example, unless you're going to be a math teacher or a professor of some sort is there any reason we need to learn about some of the things taught in high school math classes?
When will I ever use imaginary numbers to solve anything? They are not real!! They are just state of the unknown. You can't see them so why do we continue to learn about them? The only thing I'd use an imaginary number for in real life is to multiply it by my imaginary friend to make him real? Isn't that the concept behind imaginary numbers?
How about graphs that have a million lines going everywhere. Why do teachers make us identify these spiderwebs when in real life I probably won't ever see it.
My mom is decently smart. She knows how to do taxes and basic math. Whenever I asked her for help in elementary school she was right there to help me. Once I got into the higher math like 6th grade and 7th grade she didn't know how to do any of it. This might be a dumb question but how does a 7th grader do harder problems then a mother of 13 years? I don't get it. Did she learn the same math we learn now in high school and just forget it over the years? Or was she ever taught it?
The human brain can only store so much information. That is why we are constantly obtaining new knowledge and strengthening our brains to learn more. I believe that the human brain only remembers what it needs to remember. Most things, like math equations and problems or silly things we learn in high school are just deleted from the data base we call brain.
Now I'm not saying that it is a good to not do your math homework and to fail all your tests because you don't think you will use some of the math you learn in high school. I think that the big math Gods behind the math books should be reasonable with what they put into the books.
Now this isn't a hard equation: Math God + Easier Problems = Happy Me!

Motto to live by

There is no victory without sacrifice.
I think that this motto is a good motto to live by because all it is saying is that you have to work hard and try your hardest to become victorious. This is true in everything I do. At basketball practice this year our team runs an extra "suicide" which is a full out sprint from the baseline to the foul line back to the baseline, then to half court and back, 3/4 court and back then full and back. We run theses suicides to become a more conditioned team. So when the 4th quarter comes around, we are able to keep playing hard. There is no victory without sacrifice.

Small Seed
Hover Car
Hover car,
Smooth, graceful,
Floating, soaring, speeding,
Hovering high above the street,
Hover car.
October
D'archangelo
This is a D'archangelo,
It lives in dungeons, dams, dikes and ditches,
A D'archangelo eats Doritos, doughnuts, daisies, and dirt.
It likes dancing, doo-doo, and democrats
One day a D'archangelo dominated me in a diversion of dominoes

About Tripper
My name is Tripper. You may say, “Wow what a weird name” but it really isn’t. I am the third generation of my real name. My parents decided that it too hard to call two people in the same household, my dad and I, the same name so I got my name changed to Tripper. Why Tripper you may ask? Well the first part, which is tri-, means three or in this case third. Just like triangle which has three sides and triceratopses which has three horns. The rest of my name, -pper, doesn’t mean anything. It is just the end of the name. So that is how I got my name.
Now here is some fun facts about me. I play basketball and lacrosse for my school and I enjoy watching sports on TV and in person. I go to many Ohio State football games and many Toledo basketball games. On Saturday, you can usually find me down in my basement, aka: the cave, watching college football games.
I am an average student and I do reasonably well on tests and quizzes. My favorite subject is anything related to history because I am good with names and dates. I have a dog named Jet who just joined our family. He is all black and he is very small. It’s weird that we always pick small dogs even though my whole family is tall. He is often stepped on and kicked because he is so small.
All in all, I enjoy playing sports and doing decent in school. I like playing with my dog and hanging out with my family and friends.
